To be honest, Propellerhead Reason might also be worth checking out. Synths like Masive or Surge are also hybrids, except they contain most parameters within one page/view. I think FAW Circle makes the drag and drop modulation routing even easier.Ībsynth is a hybrid synth, but its UI is horrendous.

I still suggest Dimension Pro - it's basically a rompler, has great sounds with a wide scope of patch categories, VERY simple interface, and that's it. Especially Gladiator's synthesis might be too much for OP. )ĭunno, I don't consider Massive and Gladiator as intuitive. If one of the synths listed above doesn't fit your needs, you ī) need to quit making music as a past time whilst you're ahead. Whilst I appreciate their sound may be good, I think the UI for each of those synths is crap (except perhaps ACE). Many people are crazy over D-Cam Synth Squad, Sylenth and U-He ACE. Because of its excellent feature set and easy UI, making complex and interesting sounds is easy and fast. I also own Camel Audio Alchemy for its insane feature set and fairly decent UI. My personal favourite is Vember Audio Surge for its flexibility, UI and features. (Thankfully, lots of alternative skins are available!) :)
